We took our traditional fall photos with our rescued furbearers! Let me remind you, we have a hundred of them: foxes, Arctic foxes, and raccoon dogs. All bought back from fur farms.

The first location was the pond and the foxes around it. They got into the game right away! - They rustled the fading grass around us like a pack of furry piranhas. And what did you think? - A trump place next to the new object of attraction was taken by alpha Namira, black as night. She sat down, telling everyone, "The object is inedible, so let's take pictures in order, and me first.

That was enough for about seven minutes. Then all the foxes living by the pond lost interest in the pumpkin. And we went on our adventure - to the Arctic foxes.

The show started as soon as we left the pumpkin with them. The first one to fly up was Ocko the Fat- she was clutching at the pumpkin's tail and wasn't about to give up her large and round prey. And the little one thought the best solution was to drag the pumpkin to a secluded corner, so she bravely grabbed it by the top and began dragging it around - draw conclusions about the strength and tenacity of the Arctic foxes at a time when they really need something!

But we had to leave to please the foxes from the individual apartments-Bahara and Kuro.

Bahara ran past the pumpkin three times. Or 30 times. The pumpkin did not interest her at all, but the handsome blond boys in the enclosure of Morihaus - oooh very much.

When Bahi bumped into our filming object, she grabbed it in passing and dragged it somewhere to the side, then threw it and ran to tangle in the grass. And still the shots came out unparalleled!

- Shall we go to the raccoons with the pumpkin?

- No way, they can't make it into rags...

- Shall we try it?

We went in, selflessly put the pumpkin in the center of the raccoon territory, mentally said goodbye to it and ran to the door.

And then.... nothing.

The raccoons just sat there and glared out of the woods. We were already upset when Elfie crawled lazily and imposingly, shaking off her feathers, out of the nibbled dragon's head.

"It's about to start," Olesya and I looked at each other silently.

Elfie walked over to the pumpkin, sniffed, moved away from it, and sat down. She sat down like a real dog on the "sit" command, and it would have been perfect for the photo, if it hadn't been for the meter that separated her from the pumpkin.

- Elfi, please sit closer," I asked subserviently, crawling over to the mise-en-scene and pushing the pumpkin toward the raccoon bitch.

She got up and moved farther away, keeping her social distance.
